Abbott Tests Positive For COVID, Not Symptomatic So Far

(Austin, TX) — Governor Abbott says he is not feeling any symptoms after testing positive for COVID-19.

The governor’s office made the announcement yesterday, stating that he gets tested daily and this was the first positive result. Abbott is fully vaccinated, and is also getting the Regeneron monoclonal antibody treatment.

He said he plans to stay engaged with everything happening at the Texas Capitol while isolating in the Governor’s Mansion.
