(Rusk, TX) — Two East Texas kids are safe following an AMBER Alert.

Cherokee County Sheriff Brent Dickson says Desmond and Ashlynn Wells were found Tuesday in Kilgore and are now in CPS custody.  They were reported missing Monday.  Dickson says the pair were with Jesse Schmidt but didn’t reveal if the 32-year-old is under arrest.

The case is still under investigation.
