(Fort Worth, TX) — The mask mandate in the Fort Worth ISD takes effect on Monday.

All students, teachers, staff, and visitors will be required to wear masks in the district’s classrooms and buildings.  Superintendent Kent Scribner announced the mandate last month, but a group of parents sued and won a temporary injunction in a Tarrant County court.

The district appealed, and the temporary injunction against the district was halted until further notice.
