Amazon Hiring Thousands In North Texas

(Dallas, TX) — Amazon is planning to hire 11-thousand employees in North Texas.

The jobs have a starting pay of 15-dollars an hour and offer a sign-up bonus of up to a thousand-dollars. On Monday, Amazon said it intends to hire more than 125-thousand employees nationwide to better serve its customers. The company has positions to fill at about 250 new fulfillment centers, sorting centers, regional air hubs, and delivery stations that opened this year. Amazon has more than 20 facilities spread across North Texas.

The newly announced hires are in addition to the 40,000 corporate and IT jobs Amazon announced earlier this month and doesn’t include upcoming holiday hires.
