(Dallas, TX) — Southwest Airlines is offering its employees an incentive to get the coronavirus vaccination.

The Dallas-based carrier is offering its workers two days’ pay in exchange for getting the shots.  The bonus pay will be included in their paychecks just in time for Christmas.  Southwest isn’t requiring its 54-thousand employees to be vaccinated but is trying to entice them instead.

On the other hand, employees who aren’t vaccinated and come down with the virus, or are exposed to it, will have to use their own time off to recover from it.
