(Fort Worth, Tx) – One of two people injured Sunday in a military plane crash in Lake Worth was released Monday from a Fort Worth Hospital, according to a tweet from Naval Air Training Command.

Lake Worth Police say the instructor and student pilot, ejected from a T-45C Goshawk training jet before it crashed in a residential area.  The Navy says the student pilot struck power lines and caught fire while descending with a parachute from the aircraft and is still in serious condition at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.

Meanwhile, military officials have arrived to investigate the scene and figure out what caused the jet to go down.

No one on the ground was injured.
