Support Pours In For Injured Cheerleader From Prosper

(Prosper, TX) — A show of support is planned for tonight for a 16-year-old Prosper High School cheerleader who was injured in a tumbling accident.

Makayla Noble injured her spinal cord on Monday night. She’s had surgery at Medical City Plano, and she’s in for at least a year of rehab, but her family says it looks like she’ll never walk again. The pep rally and homecoming parade are tonight, and supporters are asked to wear purple for Makayla at Friday’s football game. She also cheers competitively for Cheer Athletics.

People have already donated $50,000 to her family online.
