Navy Completes Cleanup After Jet Crash In Lake Worth

(Lake Worth, TX) — The U.S. Navy reports it has finished its cleanup of the area where a training jet crashed two-weeks ago in Lake Worth.

Both pilots ejected before the crash and were hospitalized afterward. The student’s parachute was caught in some power lines, while the instructor was found nearby. The student is still recovering in the hospital and has been upgraded from serious to fair condition.

The instructor was released from the hospital the day after the crash.
