(Arlington, TX) — The parents of a three-year-old boy who died after contracting a brain-eating amoeba at a splash pad in Arlington are suing the city.
The wrongful death lawsuit seeks more than a million dollars in damages. Bakari Williams was hospitalized at Cook Children’s Hospital for a week before he died on September 11th, several days after playing in the splashpad at Don Misenhimer Park in Arlington.
