(Decatur, Tx) – A Former Decatur school board president was arrested this week on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failing to stop at a stop sign.

Decatur Police say Thomas Houchin was taken to the Wise County jail with bond set at $1,250.

According to the Fort Worth Star Telegram, Houchin recently stepped down as board president, although he was still serving on the Decatur school board at the time of his arrest.
