(Fort Worth, TX) — The suspect in a shooting at a Mansfield high school is out on $25,000 bond.

Timothy Simpkins didn’t say a word after he was released from a jail in Fort Worth Thursday afternoon.  Arlington police say the 18-year-old pulled a gun inside Timberview High School after a fight broke out and fired several shots.  A teacher and a 15-year-old were struck by bullets and are hospitalized.  Two other injuries were also reported.

Simpkins’ family says bullying was a factor in the shooting and have apologized for the violence.  He’s charged with 3 counts of aggravated assault.
