(The Colony, TX) — Cowboys safety Damontae Kazee is out on bond after being accused of DWI.
The Colony police say Kazee was arrested early Tuesday morning after failing a sobriety test and committing a traffic violation on Hwy 121.
The 28-year-old reportedly told the officer he had been drinking. Kazee has a one year deal with the team and has started all six games for Dallas this season.
The Cowboys are on a bye week and head coach Mike McCarthy told players to be careful while they’re off. The Dallas Cowboys haven’t commented.
