(Brookshire, TX) — All 21 passengers and crew aboard a private jet that crashed shortly after takeoff in Southeast Texas are okay.
They were apparently headed to the ALC baseball game in Boston. Multiple reports say the group had tickets to last night’s Game Four between the Astros and Red Sox. The MD-80 took off from Houston Executive Airport then went down in a field about a half-hour west of Houston and caught fire.
Two people were hospitalized with minor injuries. The NTSB and the FAA are investigating. The plane is reportedly owned by Houston developer J. Alan Kent
The Astros went on to win the game 9-2 and even the series at two games apiece.
