Southwest Denies COVID Vaccination Policy Change

(Dallas, TX) — Southwest Airlines is denying any change to its coronavirus vaccine policy.

A spokesperson for the North Texas-based airline says employees still have to get the COVID inoculation by December 8th. The spokesperson noted workers can apply for an exemption by November 24th. Southwest will let workers stay on the job if their accommodation request has not been processed by December 8th.

The spokesperson says Southwest is still working on analyzing and answering questions on the COVID vaccine requirement for federal workers.
