Woman Sues Dallas World Aquarium Over Alleged Otter Attack

(Dallas, TX) — The Dallas World Aquarium is facing legal action after a Grand Prairie woman claims her child was attacked by a sea otter.

Stacey Williams filed suit this week alleging her 18-month-old son was “brutally attacked” by an otter during a May second visit to the aquarium. The suit states the otter scratched the child’s arm, leaving deep gouges. The suit alleges this led to an infection.

The suit is seeking more than one-million-dollars in damages.
