UNT To Join AAC

(Irving, TX) — The American Athletic Conference will soon see UNT as a member.

North Texas announced today it had accepted an invitation to join the AAC in the near future. UTSA and Rice are also becoming conference members along with Florida Atlantic, UAB, and UNC-Charlotte. All six schools had been part of Conference USA.

The AAC had been looking for new schools to join after Houston, Cincinnati, and Central Florida joined the Big 12.
