Two Dead, Eight Injured At TX Drag Racing Event

(Kerrville, TX) — Two children are dead and eight people are injured after a drag racer veered off the track at a race in Texas.

An event called “Airport Race Wars Two” was being held at the airport in Kerrville, north of San Antonio, Saturday afternoon when a drag racing vehicle drove into a group of spectators. Kerrville police say a six-year-old boy died at the scene and an eight-year-old boy died at the hospital.

Eight other people were injured, including two who are listed in critical condition.
