(Crowley, TX) — Crowley ISD is the latest North Texas school district to drop its mask requirement.
The district’s mask mandate expires today. Crowley ISD and several other Texas school districts sued the state over Gov. Greg Abbott’s ban on local mask mandates. A district judge in Austin ruled that the districts could keep their temporary mandates in place.
Crowley ISD’s superintendent says masks will be strongly encouraged but no longer required.
