Gary Patterson And TCU Part Ways

(Fort Worth, TX) — TCU and head football coach Gary Patterson are parting ways effective immediately.

After over 20 years as the program’s head coach, the school decided to part ways with Patterson on Sunday. Athletic director Jeremiah Donati said he and chancellor Victor Boschini asked for Patterson to finish the season, but he declined.

Jerry Kill has been named the interim head coach as Patterson will “assist in the transition to take place.”
