(Dallas, TX) — Health officials in North Texas say they’re prepared to vaccinate kids age five to 11.
Tarrant County Public Health Director Vinny Taneja says the county expects to receive 60,000 doses of the child-friendly vaccine over the next week or so. He says they’ll be divided up among the public health department, pediatricians’ offices, and pharmacies.
Taneja says there are more than 200,000 kids in that age group in the county.
