(Fort Worth, TX) — Child vaccinations are underway in North Texas, and some Fort Worth ISD students aged five to 11 were among the first to get them.

The school district and the city of Fort Worth organized a drive-thru clinic on Thursday at the district’s Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center.  The clinic offered the pediatric Pfizer vaccine that was recently approved for emergency use authorization.

Some parents said they were glad the shots are available so their kids can go to class safely and be around their grandparents during the upcoming holidays.
