(undated) — Nineteen states are seeking to make daylight saving time permanent.
This Sunday, daylight saving comes to an end in the U.S. and Americans will set their clocks back one hour. Not everyone’s happy about it, though. A report in USA Today says in the past four years, 19 states have passed resolutions or enacted legislation that would make daylight saving year-round, if Congress would allow it. The switch would require a change to federal law.
Over 70 countries worldwide observe daylight saving time.
