(Fort Worth, TX) — Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth is asking the public to donate crutches.
The supply chain disruption is causing a lack of aluminum, which could lead to a crutch shortage. The hospital says it goes through 70-sets of crutches in an average week. At that rate, they could run out of their supply within two-months.
The hospital is trying to stay ahead of a possible shortage of aluminum crutches that could happen soon.
