(Washington, DC) — The White House says Texas will receive more than 35-billion-dollars over the next five-years from the newly passed infrastructure bill.
Congress passed the trillion-dollar bill last Friday. President Joe Biden is expected to sign it into law soon. The federal dollars are expected to pay for roads, bridges, pipelines, ports, broadband access, and other projects, repairing old ones and building new ones.
U.S. Rep. Lizzie Fletcher, a Houston Democrat, says the bill can provide for weatherization and storm management statewide.
