(Mineral Wells, Tx) – Investigators in Mineral Wells say the fire that destroyed the historic old high school building was arson and three juveniles have been identified as the suspects that started it.

The ages of the suspects are 14 to 15, so their identities have been withheld.  Mineral Wells arson investigators say the case will be submitted to the Palo Pinto County Attorney’s Office for prosecution.

Sunday night’s fire complete gutted the historic landmark that once housed Mineral Wells High School from 1915 to 1953.
