Fort Worth Police: Suspect Killed Was Armed With BB Gun

(Fort Worth, TX) — The Fort Worth PD is reporting that the gun a suspect pointed at officers on Tuesday before they fatally shot him turned out to be a BB gun.

Police released body-cam video showing the encounter, along with a picture of the BB gun, which looks like a Glock. They also released part of the man’s 911 call to police, asking them for help because he felt like he was possessed and may kill his parents.

Officers shot and killed 29-year-old Mitchell Davis when he reportedly pointed the realistic-looking gun at them.
