(Austin, TX) — Texas Governor Greg Abbott is vowing Texas National Guard members will not be forced to get the coronavirus vaccine.
The governor sent a letter to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin the Third, saying his executive order banning vaccine mandates remains in effect. Abbott also says the Biden administration should not cut off federal funds if guard members aren’t inoculated citing national security.
He’s promising to use every legal tool to defend “these American heroes.”
