Military-Grade Munitions Found In Rockwall Storage Unit

(Rockwall, TX) — An investigation is underway after the discovery of military-grade munitions in a storage unit in Rockwall on Friday.

A couple bought the contents of the storage unit at Vault Storage on East Ralph Hall Parkway after the previous owner stopped paying the rent. On Friday afternoon, the couple found military-grade munitions and weapons inside. The Garland Bomb Squad, the Air Force, and the FBI set up a perimeter Friday night, evacuating nearby businesses and closing the road.

Rockwall police won’t reveal everything that was in the unit, but they say everything that was dangerous to the public was removed.
