Candidate For Texas House Accused Of Aggravated Assault

(Fort Worth, TX) — A North Texas House candidate is under arrest on aggravated assault accusations.

Fort Worth police say earlier this month, Craig Carter attacked a friend of his estranged wife after pointing a gun at him. Officers say the friend was able to get the weapon away from Carter and tie his hands together with a belt.

Carter is out on bond and tells KFDX he has video which will exonerate him.
