Troy Aikman Coming Out With His Own Beer Brand

(Dallas, TX) — Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman is going into the brewery business.

The Hall of Famer announced on Tuesday that he’s co-founded a company that will sell a light beer called Eight starting next month. The 90-calorie beer is named after Aikman’s jersey number. The beer will only be available in Texas, and only on tap in bars and restaurants at first.

Starting in March, it will be made available at grocery stores and convenience stores.
