(Keene, Tx) – Keene police are searching for a shooter that left one person dead and two others with life-threatening injuries.

The Cleburne Times Review reports just after 1:30pm Tuesday, police got a call about multiple shots fired and someone laying on the ground in a cul de sac on Alaska Street in Keene.  When they got there, officers found a deceased man laying next to a car on the street.  They also found another shooting victim sitting on a porch and a third victim sitting on the ground one block over.  The two victims were flown to local hospitals, there’s no update on their conditions.

Keene Police say a heavyset Hispanic man wearing a grey hoodie and black pants fled the scene on foot.  A possible second suspect took off in a car described as a dark grey Chevy Sonic.  That vehicle was later found by Cleburne Police.

Investigators say there’s no word yet on a motive for the shooting, but they do believe the suspects and victims knew each other and illegal drugs were found at the scene.
