British Teens In Custody In Connection To North Texas Synagogue Standoff

(Manchester, UK) — Two British teens are in custody as part of the investigation into a 12-hour hostage standoff at a North Texas synagogue on Saturday.

The Greater Manchester Police took the teens in for questioning. They haven’t released any information as to how the pair may be connected to the standoff that took place at the Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville. American authorities identified the suspect killed in the standoff as 44-year-old Malik Faisal Akram of Great Britain.

The international investigation now involves the U.S., Great Britain, and Israel.
