(Plano, TX) — A North Texas federal judge is planning to rule in the next 24 to 48 hours on whether Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes of Granbury will get bail.
Rhodes appeared in court Monday on seditious conspiracy charges in connection with last year’s riot at the U.S. Capitol. Prosecutors say Rhodes and other Oath Keepers members planned to use force to keep Congress from certifying President Joe Biden’s 2020 election win.
Oath Keepers calls itself a non-partisan association of current and former serving military, police, and first responders who promise to not obey unconstitutional orders.
