(Granbury, Tx) – The Granbury school district postes a message to social media asking for prayers for a GHS student seriously injured in an automobile accident while walking across Pearl Street after school on Tuesday afternoon.

GHS assistant principals immediately responded with assistance from school medical staff, campus security, and other individuals. We appreciate the quick response by Granbury Police Dept. and first responders to transport the student to a Fort Worth hospital.

There’s no update on the condition of the girl.
