(Fort Worth, TX) — American Airlines is reducing its March departure schedule at DFW Airport by about 16-hundred flights, or 52 flights per day.

The Fort Worth-based carrier announced on Thursday that it will operate more than 54-hundred peak daily departures systemwide in March, which is more than the March 2021 schedule.  The decision to reduce flights at DFW follows last week’s protest at the airport by more than 160 pilots and members of the Allied Pilots Association.

The association’s negotiating committee is calling for scheduling reforms.
