(Frisco, TX) — Four former Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders got a large settlement after issuing voyeurism claims against owner Jerry Jones’ ex-spokesperson.
ESPN reports the team gave almost 400-thousand dollars each to the cheerleaders in 2016 after one of them accused Rich Dalrymple of hiding behind an AT&T Stadium locker room wall with a phone extended past it. A Cowboys spokesperson says Dalrymple’s phone was confiscated and no evidence of wrongdoing was found on it. Dalrymple told HR investigators he went into the dressing room to use the bathroom and left because he didn’t know the women were there. Dalrymple was apparently given a disciplinary letter and had his access to the cheerleaders’ locker room revoked.
The Cowboys admitted no wrongdoing in the settlement and the women were told they couldn’t comment on it. Dalrymple retired earlier this month and says he fully cooperated with the investigation.
