AAA Texas: Statewide Gas Price Up Seven-Cents From Last Week

(Undated) — The Triple-A Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $3.22 a gallon for regular unleaded.

That price is up seven-cents from a week ago, and is 99-cents more than a year ago. The national average is $3.52. Gasoline supply and demand are both lower, but rising crude prices are driving up the pump price as well.

The average price at the pump in North Texas is $3.28.
