Nearly 300 Graves Vandalized In Historic North Texas Cemetery

(Waxahachie, TX) — An investigation is underway in Waxahachie where over 270 graves were vandalized at the city cemetery.

Some of the gravestones that were smashed were more than 100 years old and one of them belonged to one of the town’s first settlers, Emory Rogers.

Police say it’s the worst case of vandalism at the Waxahachie City Cemetery ever.
