(Granbury, TX) — The family of a former Marine from Granbury, who’s currently in a Russian prison, wants to meet with Joe Biden during the President’s visit to North Texas this week.

Joey and Paula Reed say their 30-year-old son Trevor has been imprisoned in Russia since 2019, when he went there to visit his girlfriend.  Trevor Reed was sentenced to nine-years for assaulting an officer.  U.S. officials say he’s innocent.

President Biden is scheduled to visit Fort Worth on Tuesday to discuss veterans’ issues.  The Reeds hope they can discuss the situation with Biden in person.
