North Texas Rioter Guilty In Jan 6th Attack

(Washington, DC) — A North Texas man is the first person to be found guilty in the January 6th Capitol riot.

49-year-old Guy Reffitt of Wylie was armed with a gun and zip ties when he stormed the steps of the building. A jury found him guilty of five counts. His teenage son tipped off the FBI.

Sentencing is scheduled for June 8th.
