(Arlington, TX) — The Rangers are taking a loss in their home opener.

Texas fell 6-4 to the Rockies in 10 innings in Arlington.  The Rockies earned the win in extras after calling for a replay after catcher Mitch Garver slid hard into second base and it was later deemed a game-ending double play.  Adolis García led the Rangers with two hits and two RBI, while Greg Holland suffered his first loss in relief.  The game was not sold out.

Texas sends lefty Martin Perez to the mound tonight.
