(Cripple Creek, CO) — A Texas billionaire is buying a Colorado casino.
Fertitta Entertainment is expected to complete the purchase of the Wildwood Casino and Hotel in Cripple Creek later this year. The 43-million-dollar purchase is dependent on approval by state regulators. Fertitta Entertainment is owned by Houston billionaire Tilman Fertitta.
The company owns the Golden Nugget casino in Las Vegas and plans to rename the Cripple Creek casino to align with that brand.
