(Dallas, TX) — Southwest Airlines is promising to expand WiFi service and add power ports to all seats on planes.
The North Texas-based low fare air carrier announced the customer modernization today, which includes more entertainment options and more cabin refreshments. Southwest officials say there will also be larger overhead bins and more self-service capabilities.
CEO Bob Jordan says the bold plans and significant investments will win new customers and encourage existing ones to keep flying Southwest.
The upgraded WiFi is already available on some flights to make sure it performs as expected.
