(San Antonio, TX) — The group that operates the Texas power grid says that conditions have returned to normal, and there is enough power to meet demand.
ERCOT was urging people to set their thermostats at 78-degrees over the weekend, saying six generation facilities had tripped offline. While it was close, there was never a need for rolling brownouts.
On Monday, ERCOT said conditions had returned to normal with more than 57-hundred megawatts in reserve capacity.
