(White Settlement, Tx) – White Settlement Police report one person was killed in a shooting at the Lockheed Martin plant, west of Fort Worth.

It happened around 5:30 this morning at the Lockheed Main Entry Gate near the Joint Reserve Base off Spur 341 and Clifford Street.  There is a heavy police presence at the facility and employees are being rerouted to Gate 2 on Cherry Street.

White Settlement Police tweeted that the Fort Worth Bomb Technicians are on the scene to evaluate a suspicious device found inside the suspect’s car.  The department believes it was an isolated shooting incident.

No further information has been released yet about the details of the shooting or the suspect.
