AAA Texas: Statewide Gas Price Soars 19 Cents From Last Week

(Undated) — The Triple-A Texas Weekend Gas Watch says the statewide average gas price in Texas is $4.29 a gallon for regular unleaded.

That price is up 19-cents from a week ago, and is a $1.53 higher than a year ago. The national average is $4.59.

The average price at the pump in North Texas is $4.40 a gallon.
