(San Antonio, TX) — The Saharan dust cloud is crossing the Atlantic Ocean on its way to Texas and is expected to arrive this weekend.
The huge dust cloud should reach southeast Texas by Sunday morning. Most of the dust will stay thousands of feet in the air, making the sky look gray. Dust particles closer to the ground can irritate people’s eyes and throats and cause reduced visibility.
The dust cloud also creates most beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
