Millions Expected To Hit The Road Memorial Day Weekend

(Undated) — More than 39 million people are expected to travel this Memorial Day weekend, with the vast majority of those in cars.

In fact, some 35 million will be on the roads, a predicted eight percent increase over 2021. However, you get where you’re going, it’s going to be more expensive. Rental car prices are up around 16% and hotels are around 42% more expensive.

That’s not to mention current gas prices.
