Power Ranger Actor Accused Of Wire Fraud In North Texas

(McKinney, TX) — One of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers faces federal charges of fraud.

Jason Geiger, known professionally as Austin St. John, played the Red Power Ranger in the 1990s TV series. Federal prosecutors say Geiger took part in a scheme to falsify government documents to obtain more than $400,000 in loans from the Paycheck Protection Program.

Officers arrested Geiger last week in McKinney. If convicted, he faces up to 20-years in prison.
