Abbott Gives Update On Border Security Efforts From Eagle Pass

(Eagle Pass, TX) — Gov. Greg Abbott is giving his latest outlook on the situation at the border.

On Monday, Abbott toured Department of Public Safety and Texas National Guard border security efforts in Eagle Pass. Afterward, the governor held a news conference and provided an update on border security strategies on the Rio Grande.

He emphasized counter-cartel measures, efforts to work with law enforcement in the four Mexican border states, and the continued busing of illegal immigrants from the Texas border to Washington, D.C.
